Dr Neeru has been working in general practice for the last 22 years since qualifying in 1998 from Kings College London. She gained a wealth of knowledge and experience after working in a variety of places. She was a House Officer in Kings College Hospital Children’s department and Prosthetic (denture) department. She then went on to be a general dental practitioner and community dentist working with special needs, disabled persons, elderly and extremely nervous people. Being a mother of three, she loves having an active role promoting dental health in community nurseries and schools.
Her passion to help others has been a major driving force behind the opening of her own practice with her husband Vineet Korpal – the optometrist, 10 years ago. Hence the name ‘Eye Smile’. Dr Neeru enjoys cosmetic dentistry and loves putting nervous patients at ease helping them to overcome their fears. Dr Neeru absolutely loves treating children, she introduces them to the surgery equipment and lets them have fun with it all. This introduction process breaks down barriers and children know what to expect making dentistry fun for kids. Dr Neeru particularly enjoys whitening and cosmetic improvements to smiles.
Dr Neeru has more recently in the last few years taken a special interest in periodontology which is the study of gum disease and is very passionate about explaining gum disease, motivating patients and stabilising gum disease. Her special techniques of oral hygiene, explaining gum disease in a different way and treatment with Neeru means she is achieving great results with a very gentle approach.
